The English Futures Party

cropped-compass-shipping-regions-cnv00007.jpg

We are Southampton Independents locally, because we deal with the issues as they stand, not dealing in party politics. That's because people tell us Labour or Tory, same old story.
Regionally and nationally in England, the co-founders of Southampton Independents also founded the English Futures Party in 2015, to stand up for and stand up with everyone who wants a better future for England and English people.

By English people, we mean anyone and everyone who lives or works in England and is committed to a positive future our country.

The English Futures Party is a party for England that is just like the Scottish National Party in Scotland and Plaid Cymru in Wales.
The English Futures Party, also known as the E-Futures Party, was formed in Southampton, England and is formally registered as a political party with the Electoral Commission.
The English Futures Party does not stand candidates in local authority elections, encouraging Independent candidates to stand instead on the local issues that matter to residents.

The English Futures Party also has an Electoral Agreement with Southampton Independents to not stand candidates against each other.
The English Futures Party's aims are:
  1. The promotion of all English interests for English people of all backgrounds. We promote these interests regardless of their ethnic origin, race or original nationality.
  2. International co-operation between England and other nations.
  3. The promotion of peace, trade and shared prosperity between England and other nations.
  4. The protection of human environments and natural environments.
  5. An English Parliament, distinct from the other UK Parliaments and National Assemblies of the United Kingdom. English Parliament's power and national sovereignty will be in a written Constitution by the English people following a national Constitutional Convention and Referendum.
